Founded in 1930, the Shell Rock Library has been serving the community for over 85 years. The Library building has moved several times over the years before finally ending up here at 104 S Cherry street. We have great books for readers of all ages! Whether you're looking for a thrilling mystery, a true crime story, a tale of western heros, inspirational fiction, young adult high school novels, juvenile graphic novels, or even bed time stories for the kids; we have the book your looking for! We also offer a fun space for kids over the age of 9 to read and play on computers after school. We even have a Nintendo Switch with 4 remotes for challenging friends and entertainment. We're also always looking for improvements, and love new book suggestions from our patrons! If we happen to not have the book you're looking for, we can always order books from SILO, an inter-library loan system that allows borrowing from libraries across the state! Stop by today and start reading!
